11.06.2008

Jack:  Good evening my friends.  Good evening Jim.

Jim:  Good evening Jack and we bid you welcome once again in the love and light of Mother/Father God.

Jack:  It’s been a long road.

Jim:  It has.

Jack:  We have definitely turned a corner and I believe that the events of Tuesday’s election speak volumes to the intention of the American people to once again rise to be a united nation.  I am pleased beyond measure as I am sure you are as well.  I am not without words of caution however for the road ahead will not be easy. But before I start on my soap box for the evening, I would be happy to entertain any discussion that any of you would like to begin.

Jim:  I guess there is no one who wants to say anything right now.

Jack:  Ok.  I know Jim that you have many things running through your mind at this time yet I understand that hesitancy is the word of the remainder of the group this evening.

Jim:  Well the one thing that I am very happy about, I can now support him openly when before I couldn’t because of the foundation. If somebody would have got a hold of the information I could have lost everything.  So now if I find an Obama flag I could fly it from my truck because he is now the president elect and from that stand point the foundation can not be harmed in any way.

Jack:  Absolutely.  This is a similar set of circumstances that this kind young woman allows me to use her body has been through for I know she has also been extremely frustrated by her inability to outwardly show her support for the candidate of her choosing and to me this is unfortunate but not surprising.  As we have discussed many times this climate of political correctness, this climate of silencing the passion of individuals in the name of not stepping on the toes of another is not what this nation needs at this time.  Mr. Obama spoke volumes with few words Tuesday evening when he spoke about the great changes in this nation.  The improvements that we have made but also he touched on those things that must change in the future.  It will not be an easy road for the American people and it will not be an easy road for our friends and allies around the world.  It is without question a daunting time to step forward to lead this nation.  Yet I am confident that president elect Obama can do just that with grace, with compassion but with complete focus on that which will serve the best interest of the American people.  He has entered into a time unlike any time in the history of this nation.  There are more challenges awaiting him than have awaited any president elect in history.  Because of Mr. Obama’s ability to encourage hope in the American people it will be key for him to speak clearly, honestly, and often to the people of this great nation. For there are many who believe by virtue of his election that the problems that face this nation will suddenly go away.  Of course this is not the case, yet he has raised the level of hope and expectation extremely high.  This must be tempered with reality, nothing that has taken this many years to create will be undone in a day or a year or a term of office.  Yet Mr. Obama’s ability to unify those decision makers not only in this nation but around the world will stand him in good state to begin the process of the great changes that he envisions for the people of this great country.  It will again be joyful for the laughter of children to be heard in the White House.  As you know this was something that was very important to me when I sat as President of this great land.  My children were my rudder when things became confusing. I could look at my children and say what will ultimately be best for their future and it was a wonderful moral compass on the power of the presidency.  Mr. Obama thinks very much the same way.

Jim:  Yes and I think it is important that we look back on what he has said throughout this campaign when it comes to education. Throwing right to the American people that it is your responsibility as parents to take that child and help them along, it is not just the responsibility of the teachers and the school districts.  He’s basically laid out, to me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the responsibility of America does not only lie with him and congress but with every American, period.

Jack:  Without question and do you not find some irony in the downward spiral in the last two days?  Many who have risen to great wealth on the backs of the American middleclass have had a huge wakeup call in hearing the voices of the American people.  They realize that change is ahead but the change will no longer come from false manipulation of the economy by those who seek to serve only their own best interests.  My friends, things will get somewhat worse before they can get better.  I caution each of you as you move into the upcoming Christmas season to be realistic in that which you do to celebrate Christmas.  Do not extend your spending beyond your means for these times will be challenging and I would expect that they will remain challenging for at least the next four to six months.  So be prepared for a time of great caution in your own personal financial dealings.

Jim:  Maybe the people worldwide can start to understand what Christmas is all about and not about Wall Street and the commercialism that they deal in.

Jack:  Again Jim, as we have spoken before, the events of Tuesday have charted a new course for the American people. The world as we knew it for these last fifty years will no longer exist come the day of Mr. Obama’s inauguration.  The world will begin anew on many levels and much like the creation of this wonderful form of government by our founding fathers. It did not happen easily, it did not happen over night.  There were many times where the upheavals were painful to the American people.  This will be the case over the next four years, but know my friends that the tide has begun to shift.  The change that you have sought in your leadership approaches.  Spend some time each day if you can in a special prayer to surround Mr. Obama and his family with your love and with the light of protection. For a while, at this moment, there is being great caution put forth concerning his movements.  It is important that this not be slacked off, going forward into the holiday season.  There are many who would love to see the will of the people be undone before the Electoral College confirms this election. So I ask each and every one of you to continue to focus love and good thoughts to those who would bring Mr. Obama into the light of the new day of this nation.  It is a difficult time that we face.

Jim:  The other night though, in sitting here watching him, other than Phyllis and I we were probably the only ones old enough to remember you, the rest were either not born or too young, but in watching Tuesday night once again I can see the American people passing the torch to a new generation of Americans and what was so beautiful tonight on NBC that they showed a map that no particular group anywhere in the United States can say that they put him over the top.  He crossed lines so phenomenal that even if every African American person had not voted for him he still would have gone in.  That he crossed everything, age, gender, to the point that no one can claim that we did it but we did it as Americans.

Jack:  But there are many my friend who stand in mortal fear of the change that it represents.  The empowerment of the American people is something that has been fought down for the last eight years if not more.  Understand that there are many who, and I will make only this comment in the area of race, but there are many who still harbor ill will at the thought of an African American family in the White House.  There are many of great financial power who are extremely afraid of the exposure that they will suffer with an Obama administration.  There are many of our enemies around the world who are unnerved by the support that is being felt around this big rock in space for one man and the change that he represents.  So to say that this race is over is a misnomer somewhat.

Jim:  We just went from the college field exercise of the race to the Olympics.

Jack:  Indeed.

Jim:  And this is just going to be the tough thing.

Jack:  Indeed.

Jim:  And these people that you spoke of should be in fear, they have had their way too long. Tonight Rush Limbaugh is bad mouthing this selection, for this that and the other thing.  I have pretty much vowed to myself that I am going to go after that man’s sponsors because that is one way to shut him off.

Jack:  There are others my friend Jim who are equally as venomous in their words.  There is one by the name of, I believe Glen Beck, who in his commentary yesterday likened Mr. Obama to Adolph Hitler.  When you look at that kind of fear mongering allowed to permeate the airwaves the day after the election, despite the importance of the first amendment, it is also important for each and every American to speak out that this type of behavior will no longer be tolerated.  It can not be an edit that comes down from on mountain high, saying that this person can not speak, for that is a violation of the first amendment of our wonderful constitution.  However, for the American people to express their outrage in every shape and form possible either on the internet or through phone calls or failure to support sponsors and letting the sponsors know that failure to support them, maybe, just maybe, those who carry the angry dark energy that we have spoken of before will again be forced to silence their venom somewhat.

Jim:  I agree it is their right but it is also the American people’s right to say no more and the best way to get on them is through the people who pay their bills.

Jack:  Without question my friend, without question.

Jim:  Any questions from anyone else in the room here?

Jennifer:  I do have a question.

Jack:  Yes.

Jennifer:  I am probably the only one who did not vote for Obama but I am always open to a change or I would not be here at all because it is all about growth.  My question is, there is already outbreak of a lot of people turning this around due to either lack of education or they just want some sort of racial revenge as using the president to say we have an African American president, now we can get ours. It’s your turn, we are going to get you back, and will he simmer this down?

Jack:  Without question my dear, absolutely without question.  Mr. Obama, and I can say this without any reservation what so ever, is one who seeks to unify all people of all walks of life, of all colors, of all economic station.  He is one who seeks to unite this country to mend the fabric of this nation that has been so torn for so long.  I have spoken at great lengths about Mr. Obama. But I would like to address the fact that this was a fought campaign on the part of many.  The voice of the American people was heard Tuesday, yet there are many who in their rush to elect Mr. Obama did, on some level, discount the many good qualities of the other candidates. Yet overall, the need for change was so great that the American people stepped forward and elected Mr. Obama.  I have great respect not only for Mr. McCain but for many of the others who ran in the primaries.  There are many, many qualified individuals who would have had great ability to lead this nation if there were fewer areas of crisis at hand. But it is important to understand that for this nation, at this time, given all that is at our doorstep, one with the ability to calm people, to reach out to people in friendship and integrity will serve much better than any other candidate could possibly have done. As Mr. Obama spoke Tuesday evening he knows that he leads a nation that includes many people who did not vote for him yet he has sought the support of those individuals in saying that he will listen to them too, that he will support them too, because they are part of this United States of America. Whether you chose to vote for Mr. Obama or Mr. McCain or Mr. Barr or Ron Paul or whether you wrote in Snuggles, the teddy bear, it is important to understand that the American people have chosen one person, who I personally believe has the ability and the tenacity to guide this nation through these rough water. I hope that as time moves forward you will become more comfortable with that choice that was made by your fellow citizens and will join with them in rebuilding this nation which I know is important to you as well.

Jim:  I think it is important for all of us, for all the Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, gay, straight, just like president elect said that we understand that this is a process of uniting the people back, to coming back to what the country was originally founded on, of being united in one direction, in one time.

Jack:  Without question Jim.

Jim:  And I salute the people who even voted for McCain, at least you voted and there are ones out there who didn’t even do that.  And as I have told people who said I am not going to vote for either one, fine write your name in, you can legally write your name on the ballot and vote for yourself but I said at least exercise your right to vote.  And admire the people who voted for whoever; at least they exercised that right.

Jack:  It is unfortunate that Mr. McCain with his great love of this country and his great resume’ of service to this nation was not able to be more successful when he ran in 2000, for indeed we would live in a better world today.  It is unfortunate however that in this most recent campaign, Mr. McCain allowed himself to be controlled by those who had their own agenda rather than the best interest of the candidate, the party or the nation at heart.  And it was for this reason that John McCain was seen as indecisive, as incapable of making clear judgment, was unable to focus on issues rather than personalities. Not only in his campaign, but in his choice in surrounding himself with campaign staffers and even his running mate.  Mr. McCain gave into the temptation to trust others, much as Mr. Bush has done.

Jim:  I could not believe hearing some of the things that Senator McCain was saying. It just totally baffled most everybody who watched the debates, to see how his thoughts had shifted from one point to another and back to another again. They were not consistent of what a presidential candidate needs for uniting.  The last two weeks all I heard from John was we need to fight, we need to fight for this, we need to fight for that, and I thought to myself the American people are tired of fighting, period.  We have got to stop fighting and start uniting.  His concession speech was phenomenal; I commended him for putting his hands up at least and quiet down when they started to boo.

Jack:  And my friends if John McCain had been the John McCain that spoke from his heart as he did Tuesday evening this race would have looked much different.

Jim:  We would have been much closer.

Jack:  He would not have made the errors in judgment that he made, he would not have allowed the decision of selecting someone such as Sarah Palin as a running mate.  None of these things would have taken place if he would have come to this campaign relying on that which he knows and his own integrity.  Whether people have liked John McCain for these last twenty six years or whether they have not liked John McCain, John McCain has always been a man of integrity until this campaign.  I don’t know where it went. I don’t know why, but when he allowed himself to be made a laughing stock on “Saturday Night Live”, equating his campaign with a shopping network.  These are the types of things that just don’t resonate with who the man is and who the man has always been. This is why as we have spoken in the recent past, it is clear that the energy that was surrounding John McCain both in his advisors and his own energy was being damaged by something outside of himself.

Jim:  I would have to go back in history, since the beginning of this country, and I can’t go back that far, but I can go back in the early parts of the last century when Will Rogers and Mark Twain made fun of politicians at the time which was fair game but what they did to themselves on Saturday Night Live was made a fool of themselves by themselves.  I think president elect Barack Obama only made one appearance and yet here was John and Cindy selling fine gold on Saturday Night Live and I am like where do you think you are going to get votes here?

Jack:  It is without question that the ability to laugh at oneself is the greatest gift a politician can have, yet to allow yourself to be made the butt of a joke is just inappropriate for someone who seeks to lead a nation in a time of crisis.

Jim:  His handlers should never have allowed it, never.

Jack:  John McCain is a man of integrity, should never have allowed it.

Jim:  That’s true.

Jack:  John McCain, the maverick that he claimed to be, would never have allowed himself to be manipulated in that fashion.

Jim:  But I think it was a month ago that we were speaking, and I said John McCain was the sacrificial lamb.

Jack:  He was indeed, and he has been the pawn of energy that goes much further than that which is seen and recognized by the majority of people in this nation.

LaTonya:  When I think of that energy and what has been shared from spirit, what is happening with that energy and its breakdown, not knowing which way to turn to keep what they want to keep, it becomes evident to me, that if McCain was allowing himself to be used as a pawn, how they might, in their fractured thought processes at this time, think it was beneficial for him to go onto Saturday Night Live. I just see the energy moving all over, kind of running frantically trying to save what they see slipping through their fingers.

Jack:  That which is created in fear and darkness never does well when illuminated.

LaTonya:  And I also think, if I look at it from a larger picture and look down on the situation, I think that McCain, from a conscious level, it may have been unfortunate what he went through. But I also think from a bigger picture he agreed to serve as a reflection for the American people.  He reflected where the American have been for a long time, which is in fear, which is in fight, fight, fight mode and he served and gave us a reflection so the American populace could look and say do we want that anymore, do we want to promote and to encouraged that.  In some ways I think he was of service to the military and to the United States.

Jack:  Absolutely, LaTonya that was beautifully said, I wish I could have said that as eloquently because you made a very exceptionally valid point and one that I think escapes many people.  You know there are many outside of this circle and circles such as this where people have chosen to become more open to knowledge that is available.  There are many people who can not understand the contractual nature of life in the physical being.  I am not sure when I lived in a physical body that I had a clue what that was all about and I think the majority of people don’t have a clue but I think you made a very valid point about the contractual nature of what Mr. McCain has chosen and therefore whether you agree with his politics or disagree with his politics, whether you like the man or dislike the man I would urge each of you to be thankful for the sacrifices that he has made.  Not only when he was a prisoner of war during Vietnam but the sacrifices that he has made in this recent political campaign.

Jim:  All I can say is everything is as it needed to be for we needed a point in time now to really start uniting the country and hopefully uniting the world into a better era.

Jack:  Absolutely Jim.

Jim:  As we have spoken before from the metaphysical standpoint, planet earth is elevating itself to a new level. The Illuminati are running scared and that’s the big thing that put him down. Those people put him out there and tried to influence things and they are running scared.

Jack:  Indeed.  Well my friends if you will accept my great thanks for allowing me to spend time with you this evening I am going to step back because it has been a long evening and there is one other individual who would  truly like a moment to express a thought on the events of this week.

Jim:  That would be wonderful we are glad that you are here and now we can move onto a broader discussion on where planet earth has been and where we are going.

Jack:  Absolutely my friend and I look forward to speaking with you again soon.

Jim:  Thank you and wherever you go we know the blessings of Mother/Father God journey with you.

Jack:  Thank you my friends.

Martin:  Good evening my friend.

Jim:  Good evening Dr. King and we bid you welcome my friend.

Martin:  I looked forward to the opportunity to share just a few brief words with you this evening.

Jim:  And we welcome it openly.  I wish your daughter was here.

Martin:  For once since my passing I wish I was there in the physical.  I wish that I had been able to stand in the throng of people in Grant Park on Tuesday evening seeing history be made in a way that I could never had dreamed.  When I spoke my friends of reaching the mountain top I did speak of a day where all things would be possible for people of color but in truth I never even considered the possibility of an individual of color becoming the president of this great nation.  Of seeing a nation so united in a time of difficulty that the color of a man’s skin no longer mattered in the selection process.  As we spoke, for so many years this man was judged by the nature of his character, by his integrity, by his burning desire to bring this country forward and somehow in the process for many, the color of his skin no longer was an issue.  And my friends if this political process did nothing more than illuminate this fact for those who have questioned their own beliefs about racial bias then something miraculous has taken place in the hearts and minds of America.  Of course we all know that this momentous occasion is much bolder and much greater than that.  We are at a time of great possibility where hope once again abounds in ways that defy the imagination, for we now know that this nation can do things that no one around the world could ever have believed it capable of doing and this is only the beginning.

Jim:  Yes, just seeing the things that I have seen, the changes that I have seen in my 38 plus years that I have been on the earth plane has been phenomenal but I see the old guard passing away, passing the baton on to younger people who now thrive on the internet, who thrive on emails, who thrive on cell phones that do things that I don’t even want to know about right now and we have passed it to young people who now look at life totally different than their mothers and fathers and their grandparents did.  They look at it from a broader spectrum and say there is a man, I don’t care what color his skin is, I like his ideas and that is one of the greatest things that I see taking place.  As I told Phyllis, a lot of people who are of color say that he is not dark enough and the people who are white say that he is not white enough so I told Phyllis lets call him milk chocolate because he is 50/50.  This is something that is so beautiful because no one can claim him and that’s what is wonderful.

Martin:  But yet my friend I caution, because there are still those who carry that mantel of racial hatred very close.  Who are finding themselves extremely angered and frightened by the possibility of a nation lead by a man of color.  Mr. Obama will have many difficult days ahead, his wife and his children will spend much time saddened by that which they see around them but they have chosen to step into that bright spotlight because their love of this nation is greater.  I wish to all of you the hope for a brighter tomorrow, the strength to support your new leader, and to support each other as you move forward in these trying times.  Know that the love of God and the love of all of us, who have gone on before you, is with all of you today and will be with all of you for all of your tomorrows.

Jim:  And I would like to say that you and Jack and so many others laid their footprints to allow this to take place.  You took the steps to allow this experience to happen.

Martin:  I am humbled and honored.  Thank you.

Jim: It’s going to be a great thing.

Martin:  It will indeed.  It is not going to be easy but then the road to change is always fraught with difficulty but I know as I knew all those years ago that this nation, the hearts of its men and women will get us where we need to go.  We will truly be the beacon for the rest of the world in achieving the very best for our people and for all those who approach us as friend.  I thank you my friends for letting me join you this evening in a time of such excitement.  We will speak again soon I hope.

Jim:  This is always open to you and to others.  Your thoughts and your feelings are still important.

Martin:  Thank.

Jim:  Go in peace.  We send our love and respect to all.

Martin:  Thank you my friends.  God bless you and God bless this great nation.

Jim:  And wherever you go we know the blessings of Mother/Father God journey with you.  Thank you.
