Message: Positive Challenge - Senator Obama / European Tour - Diversity / Unity - Religion / Spirituality - Oil / Energy - Senator MaCain - 2008 Election...

Jack:  Good morning my friends.

Phyllis:  Good morning Jack.

Jim:  Good morning Jack and we bid you welcome my friend in the love and light of Mother/Father God.

Jack:  Thank you very much.  I guess on some level I just had my hand slapped.

Jim:  No not really.  We know that there are things that you would like to say and you have maybe been tugging at her throughout the week.

Jack:  But yet I understand that giving way to impatience is probably not to the benefit of any concerned.  I am finding it challenging to even begin to know where to begin to discuss the events that have taken place in these last two weeks.  So much is taking place to rapidly that it is all but impossible to isolate specifics for discussion.

Jim:  Well one thing I would like to start with just at the beginning is that your challenge two weeks ago of talking only of positive things.  I stressed myself to really do that and it has made a difference and I appreciate that challenge.

Jack:  It is a challenge that is of some merit in times that are as challenging as these for it is very easy for many to give in to the frustrations, the fears, and the sadness that goes along with the circumstances that are being faced by the American people and the people of the world.  I believe strongly that the efforts of Mr. Obama in this last week have done much to improve the view of this nation around the world. Mr. Obama’s efforts have been nothing short of phenomenal.  One needs only to see the response that he received in Germany to understand how important the leadership of this nation is to the world.  The people of the world do truly want to return to a day where they can look at the United States of America as a leader.  In the last eight years the actions of the leadership of this nation have not only called into question our role on the world stage but have, through the betrayal of the American people, called into question our entire system of government.  Mr. McCain for his true belief that he advances the interest of the American people is misguided.  Mr. Obama who advances the interest of the American people around the globe has not yet come to fully embrace how very instrumental his actions will be to the future of this nation.  This young woman who kindly lends her body to this process and therefore often can not raise questions of her own has carried with her a question over the last few days that I would like to address.

Jim:  Alright.

Jack:  Her question was well founded for as we have spoken many times over these last few years about the intention of those in power to create a one world order whether this is indeed also the intention that will be perceived of Mr. Obama’s words when he speaks of unifying this nation’s allies against terrorism throughout the world.  It is without question a fine line and a delicate balance that one walks in promoting harmony on the planet or controlling the planet through one set of ideals and I can assure her and I can assure any who have had similar questions that the harmony that Mr. Obama envisions among allies to forge a stronger world community is far from the one world order that has been advanced in the secret societies.  It is impossible for any nation in this time to stand alone in dealing with relationships with other nations.  It is difficult to forge alliances with nations whose needs and ideals are often different but it can be achieved.  This must be the focus of governments around the world moving forward.  I hope I have not made myself unclear in stating this for it is a difficult concept to put into words.

Phyllis:  What I see of what you have said is that what Obama is looking for and I am sure many on the planet is unity within diversity or diversity within unity so that no nation and that no person looses its individuality but still is able to live in harmony.

Jack:  Indeed and I thank you Phyllis, spoken like a true teacher of many.  It is without question that Mr. Obama speaks in this very arena of diversity quite conveniently because of the diversity of his own background.  It will be of note in the weeks and months to come that there will be not in the mainstream news but in the new that seeks to promote conspiracy theories much will be made of the connection of both Barack and Michelle Obama to the Council on Foreign Relations.  It is unfortunate that many have chosen to insinuate that the Council on Foreign Relations it truly synonymous with the Bilderbergers and the Trilateral Commission for this is not indeed the case.  If there is not a melting pot of ideals for dealing with foreign policy there is less chance of success.  It is important to understand that there is a difference.  I was honored as Mr. Obama addressed those in Germany this past week to know that many of the sentiments that he expressed were those that I have long tried to share with him.  He is indeed far more open to guidance of spirit than many understand.  He has intentionally sought the guidance of many of the spirit side in his path to seeking this election.

Phyllis:  Yes, before we began our session today we were speaking of how much work that you yourself are doing with Obama in the night time to give him those tools that he obviously shares.

Jack:  Well I appreciate beyond measure the credit that you are trying to give to me. However, trust me when I tell you that it is far more than my influence that he receives.  There are many, many, who have given guidance to Mr. Obama in this process.

Phyllis:  And I am very happy to hear you say that he is openly asking for the guidance and openly receiving and listening to the guidance.  That is wonderful.

Jack:  He is, contrary to the words of his detractors, an extremely spiritual man.  The dilemma that has been faced has been trying to shove this round peg into a square hole.  Mr. Obama is guided by spirit; he is not guided by religion.  He believes that all men are responsible to a higher power of their own choosing, to their own understanding.  Yet he also understands that no matter what you call that higher power it is all one in the same.  This is not an awareness that he came by easily but only after a period of serious, serious questioning as a result of his life as a young man.  This so aptly prepares him for the role that he is trying to fulfill today on the world stage.  But more importantly today, is the need for this country to focus on the candidate that will best suit the aspirations of this nation for itself.

Jim:  To bring the unity back to this country.

Jack:  And to solve the problems Jim.

Jim:  Right.

Jack:  That are facing this nation.

Jim: I think if we brought the unity back those problems would start to be solved. When you put forth that we’re going to put a man on the moon in ten years, which was your call to unify this country for a single goal.  When you bring forth that same unity and say we are going to solve our oil problems, our electrical problems, as T. Boone Pickins is starting to put his money where his mouth is, you’re starting to put forth that unity again.

Jack:  Absolutely and if you are not mildly surprised by the sudden shift in so many things in our economy today because of what is taking place on the political scene you are missing a very valid point.

Jim:  Oh yes.

Jack:  Its intriguing my friends that with all this political rhetoric being expounded on both sides of the isle, suddenly gas prices surge and then retreat.  The stock market goes up, the stock market comes down.  The price of gold surges forward and then retreats.  Some banks fail others post profits.  My friends, and Jim I know you are probably extremely aware because of the book Rule by Secrecy that you have been reading, my friends, all of this on the world stage is merely a puppet show.  It is all controlled by those behind the scenes and it will be interesting as we move forward to watch the campaign of Mr. Obama systematically begin to expose this betrayal of the American people.   He wisely has not done so to this point and will not do so till after the Democratic convention but you will see him become far more out spoken on these issues.

Jim:  Speaking of the Democratic National Convention I had a very powerful dream Saturday morning and I am going to try to get it to him, how to close that convention.

Jack:  It is a beautiful thought my friend.  It is without question a beautiful thought.

Jim:  It’s never been done and I thought, wow, maybe it’s time that we really start showing the unity back into this country.

Jack:  It would be overwhelming indeed for I can see the overall impact that this could have on the American people.  The eyes of both parties are focused on this process more so than at anytime in history and as we spoke more than four years ago about bringing the American people out of their apathy, we are swiftly getting there my friends.

Jim:  Yes we are.

Jack:  My greatest wish for the American people however is to not give way to capricious belief in the evening news sound bites, but to take the time to look behind the words to the overall actions.  There are many today who are quick to applaud John McCain for now saying that a 16 month time frame is a good one.  When you think about how foolish that is that anybody Republican or Democrat would believe that this was John McCain’s intention. When, a few short months ago, he talked about a hundred year presence in Iraq.  You have to wonder for all of his supposed awareness of foreign policy a true study of Mr. McCain’s words show that his grasp of reality of foreign policy is far  afield from the facts.  Much has been discussed in this past week about his once again misstating the benefits of the serge as being historical fact when his time line did not fit the facts.  It is important for the American people to stop honoring John McCain the hero and to seriously envision John McCain as president for he has not the ability to unify people within his own party much less in a bipartisan setting for the good of this nation.  The election of John McCain is, indeed, going to be far more damaging to this nation than even the last eight years have been.  There are those who have stood behind Senator McCain and who are leading him to a place of belief rooted in the Evangelical Christian beliefs and the need for precipitous action during what is perceived to be the end times.  It is interesting to me that the media is missing many, many important stories while they focus on these silly campaign stops, and I will fault even the media, as far as covering Mr. Obama’s campaign in the lack of responsibility to make the American people aware that for the first time since my presidency there is again a movement toward placing weaponry in Cuba by the Soviet Union or what was the Soviet Union.  History is revisiting itself again.

Jim:  Yes.

Jack:  And it is not being discussed.

Jim:  But of course. That is what I was reading in the paper today.  And of course some of the senior Russian officials said that it is all crazy talk. I am not sure that Russia has enough resources to accomplish what they are after.  But some people threw out the fact that we are building missile bases in Czechoslovakia. This is where I am thinking, why are we building these missile bases, yet again we are rattling our sabers.  The cold war was supposed to have been over with.

Jack:  Yet Mr. Bush has done such serious damage to our relationships with Russia that they feel that this nation has become a threat to their way of life.  So at the same time that we begin to lift sanctions against Cuba they again want to reach into that nation and exert equal if not superior control.  It is important my friends, to understand that this is not an isolated situation. There are many such situations taking place around the world by all different foreign powers in their efforts to secure not only their own nation but their power over other nations. And I caution the American people as we move into these difficult, difficult times to keep ever present in their thoughts who best can wage peace among these nations rather than who is best prepared to lead us into war for, there is the answer.  Were a McCain type personality to have been seated in the Oval Office during my administration, this country would look far different today than it does.

Jim:  Yes that is true but so many people, it’s getting to be the vast majority of people in the United States either were too young or weren’t even alive during that time frame.  Phyllis and I have toured a missile base in Tucson which was built when I lived there in the 60’s and these people looked at us like what was this base for, what was this stupid thinking and I said it is because you are not aware, you were not around, you weren’t here when this cold war, saber rattling was going on.  It gives it a different perspective when these people have no concept of what happened in the Cuban missile crisis.  My one friend that I went to school with in Tucson was on the lead gun on the lead boat that confronted those ships and he told me “it scared me, I was out front”, but people have no idea of the temperament of what was going on not only in the United States but in the world at that time.

Jack:  Of course, and saber rattling is becoming more common place among many, many nations that prior to this generation would never have even been considered to have any power on the world stage and it is without question a world that dictates a steady hand rather than a reactive nature.  Many of the power brokers that we have discussed over the years are threatened by the candidacy of Barack Obama for they see a lessening of their grasp upon the financial markets of the world and their power.  This is not something to be taken lightly but it also possible for the first time in over forty years for the America people to retake control.

Jim:  It was interesting the other night I was watching Bill Moyers on channel 8 and he interviewed Senator Hollings from South Carolina who was a relatively young man when he met with you. He has written a book called Making Government Work and what he has said in the book about how Senators and Representatives don’t work anymore. They are out campaigning. They are out getting money for their next upcoming election.

Jack:  He is not the only one who is advancing that theory. There have been many others who have spoken at great lengths about that, both on the political arena and in the entertainment industry through some quite popular comedians who have spoken of the same thing.  I am not quite sure I understand the involvement of the entertainment industry as spokespersons for political ideology but maybe it does work in today’s society.

Jim:  I think part of the thing is the fact that a lot of people listen more to movie stars and basketball, baseball and football players than they do to anyone else.

Jack:  Absolutely Jim, but it is important for the American people to think about some of these issues. It is not likely that these fundamental problems will change immediately.  How long have we been discussing the need to abandon the Electoral College but it is important to see that awareness has started to be generated.  Those who have been in favor of limiting terms in elected office have been shouted down by those who have been seated for far too long. Thirty percent of those who are making the decision upon which this nation bases life in this country are being made by men who are either approaching the beginnings of senile dementia or are so addicted to various substances that they haven’t had a clear thought in months.  I find those numbers to be staggering and alarming.

Jim:  And this is one of the big arguments going on in the election today.  Obama’s too young, McCain’s too old.  Well I am going to err on the side of younger.

Jack:  At what point my friend is there a magic age at which one is prepared to lead a nation.

Jim:  That is true.  The founding fathers specified an age and I think that was a reasonable time for that person to assume that they can run for office.  They have had enough education, but you are right, you are the first one, you led the path and were brow beaten pretty heavy because of your age.

Jack:  I do not wish to detract from the wisdom of the senior members of our society for they are the foundation upon which all else is based.  History not honored is often repeated, therefore those who have years of experience are valued advisors to this nation as a whole as they are in individual families.  Yet one has to be cautious in choosing elected officials not to vote based on name recognition and honor for past service when that same individual would be required to submit to a test for his or her ability to drive a motor vehicle every year because of their age.  If a person is at a point in life where they are in the golden years, their role as an advisor is honored and cherished by all who come after them. But those same individuals, when put in a position to control and lead the nation, can be detrimental to the ability of this nation to move forward in a timely fashion in a world that is ever changing.

Jim:  Ever changing rapidly.

Jack:  Mr. McCain, and I mean no disrespect for this man, Mr. McCain is only now with the urging of his staff just beginning to use the internet.  Think about that. Yet this is a man that you want to lead you forward into this century.

Jim:  And Al Gore did it four years ago.

Jack:  It is of concern that anyone so rooted in the mistakes and the limitations of the past asserts that they are an appropriate individual to lead in a time where the world stage changes hour by hour and minute by minute.  Theses are things that one has to consider in choosing the next president of this nation.  In choosing those who will guide the actions of this government in the senate and in congress, it is a crucial time to know the candidates and know what they stand for, to know what their abilities and their limitations are, and to think in terms of who is equipped to lead in today’s world.  So many who are out there are making the decisions today as voters have, they are where Mr. McCain is, they have not been able to move into this rapidly changing generation.  They are afraid of the changes and therefore they choose to align themselves with something that feels familiar.  But this is not leadership.

Jim:  Yes Phyllis and I went through that, trying to get involved in online banking and it was something that was totally new to us.  We are used to writing out a check and now we can do it all though the internet.

Phyllis:  It is scary to step into unfamiliar territory but unless you do it you stay stuck and I think that’s what you are referring to Jack, and I think Obama, that’s where his youth is so much on his side because he already stepping into the 21st century and if he had any fears at all about moving forward in this highly technical age he’s past them and is ready to fly with whatever comes.  That’s why I think his age is a huge benefit to him.

Jack:  And it is my hope that he will be able to illuminate the way for those who are afraid of change so that they can move forward.  The analogy of your granddaughter Addison doesn’t escape me today, as that child was coaxed by her loving family to take her first steps within that little body. Although she could not easily express, it was great fear and trepidation, great fear of falling even though she didn’t quite know what that was, but all of those things that instinctively give us fear and caution as we move forward into something new, she experienced.  This is what many in American society are experiencing today.  They are being asked to reach out and grab the extended hand of those who are ready to accept the challenges of this new dynamic world and lead us forward.  Look at how little Addison grows in poise and in ability and it has taken such a short period of time.

Jim: Yes, it just blows me away, she’s already counting to ten and of course Mandy just loves to work with her and her mind is like a sponge it is ready to absorb whatever.

Jack: Don’t lose the analogy here. This is true of the American people as well.

Jim:  Yes.  I truly believe the mainstream Republican power brokers have placed John McCain as a sacrificial lamb.

Jack:  Without question.  I can assure you Jim, as I speak through this kind young woman’s body, that as you sit in that chair and speak those words they’re 100% true.

Jim:  I can see them saying ok John, and in their own mind knowing that most, or the vast majority of people in the United States have had it with the war in Iraq, they have had it with this administration, they know that the Republican party is shattered because of this administration so they’re basically saying, ok John go for it, you have always wanted to do it, go for it.  If he pulls it off we got it made.

Jack:  Yes, because then the puppeteers will continue to pull the strings and control him because he is right for control by others.

Jim:  Absolutely.  If they would have chosen Mitt Romley I would have had to look differently at the whole situation, but because of his religion, here we have…

Jack:  There’s that dam word again.

Jim:  Right. It steps in and is like Mormons are a cult. No they are not, they have certain beliefs that they keep within their own context.  Yes, there are certain ones within the Fundamentalist Church that have ideas that are contrary but there’s a lot in the Fundamentalist Orthodox Christian that bother me too.

Jack:  Is there not a religion that could not be deemed under the strict definition of the word cult.

Jim:  Right.

Jack:  You know my friends even the great teacher Jesus Christ fought against organized religion, yet this way of thinking called Christianity sprang up around his life and totally has undermined, in many cases, that which he taught.  This is a discussion for another day when things are not so politically charged. But indeed my friends, resources and religion are the only two things that have lead to conflict between nations.

Jim:  That’s true.  Resources have been fought over and are still being fought over.

Jack:  And what better way to move people to fight over the resources than to do it in the name of God.  Well, my friends I think I have taken up enough time in this young woman’s body.

Jim:  It has been a great discussion today.

Phyllis:  Yes wonderful.

Jack:  As always I so look forward to our time together.  I watch avidly with Diane the political coverage that she watches and have learned much.  I think particularly for the two of you, Jim and Phyllis, if you have an opportunity to listen to or watch the one Diane referred to earlier by the name of Keith Olbermann. You would be well served.

Jim:  Ok.

Jack:  View it with an eye toward the factual information, but also view it as being the highest use of political satire for his presentation makes you realize how very, very, very silly this process has become.

Jim:  Ok, we will do that.

Jack:  With that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you are doing.

Jim:  And we thank you for joining us and we know that wherever you go the blessings of Mother/Father God journey with you.

Jack:  And I ask all who are with me to watch over and keep each and every one of you.

Jim: Thank you.
